COLOR's NOTES (10 years of Mestival) it is a musical trip along the world, across the different music and cultures, thanks to the participants and artists who acted during the festival of music Mestival 2005 celebrated in the city of Elche, Alicante, Spain. During the days that the events and concerts were celebrated, we had the possibility of interviewing the majority of the participants, and share opinions and experiences on some vital topics, which appeared as a questions.
THE RECORDING inspires by the beginning of the documentary Soviet cinema and his counselor Dziga Vertov, who proposed the recording of the reality across an army of Kinoks armed with small chambers and portable equipments, for the later reconstruction then by his assembly. The possibility of doing it nowadays, thanks to the development of the light digital equipments, and with the order of the recording of the festival only two days before the recording of the event, I managed to assemble a group of professional young men and women of image and sound of different cities, which came with his own equipments for the record of the event.
FIVE YEARS we have been late in realizing the definitive version of the documentary, while we have been employed at other projects and professions. They have collaborated in the assembly of the concerts up to four different mounting blocks expressing audiovisualmente in an independent way.
During the movie, there has been respected at all time the temporary order of the events happened during the accomplishment of Festival, as well as the order of action of the groups and artists. Hereby I have tried to reproduce more faithfully the sensation of being inside the festival of music that there took place. I have considered the complete incorporation of at least a full song of every participant..
COLOR'S NOTES it is a documentary full-lenght film independent músical, where there is demonstrated that thanks to the advances of the technology the audio-visual production of quality is possible to the margin of the helps and current subsidies and other economic relations, with the effort, the illusion, the desires and the time of those those who are charmed with the music and which we think that audio-visual other one is possible.

COLOR’s NOTES (10 años de Mestival) es un viaje musical a lo largo del mundo, a través de las diferentes músicas y culturas,gracias a los participantes y artistas que actuaron durante el festival de música Mestival 2005 celebrado en la ciudad de Elche,Alicante,España. Durante los días que se celebró los eventos y conciertos, tuvimos la posibilidad de entrevistar a la mayoría de los participantes, y compartir opiniones y experiencias sobre algunos temas vitales, que se plantearon a forma de preguntas.
CINCO AÑOS hemos tardado en realizar la versión definitiva del documental, mientras hemos ido trabajando en otros proyectos y profesiones. Han colaborado en el montaje de los conciertos hasta cuatro montadores distintos expresándose audiovisualmente de manera independiente.
Durante la película, se ha respetado en todo momento el orden temporal de los acontecimientos ocurridos durante la realización de Festival, así como el orden de actuación de los grupos y artistas. De esta manera he tratado de reproducir lo más fielmente la sensación de estar dentro del festival de música que allí tuvo lugar. He considerado la inclusión completa de al menos un tema de cada participante.
COLOR’S NOTES es un largometraje documental músical independiente, donde se demuestra que gracias a los avances de la tecnología es posible la producción audiovisual de calidad al margen de las ayudas y subvenciones actuales y otras relaciones económicas, con el esfuerzo,la ilusión , las ganas y el tiempo de aquellos a los que nos encanta la música y que pensamos que otro audiovisual es posible.
